What is a COMPLETELY FREE spyware scan?
Please don't say registry mechanic or something because it is not 100 % free. No free trials unless I can use ALL of the features.
Are there any adverse effects of running two virus/spyware scans at once?
I know having two firewalls on can make them conflict with each other. But what if I have two virus spyware scans running at the same time from two different programs? Could that cause some kind of conflict that makes them miss something or anything bad? One is Webroot Spysweeper and the other is Norton. Please only answer if this is something you specialize in and truly know the answer.I know what that stuff is and my question doesn't involve firewalls at all. That was just a comparison.I'm asking if runing two different virus spyware scans at once can conflict each other.
Is running a Norton virus/spyware scan sufficient for anti-malware-live-scanv3?
Not sure how it happened but anti malware live scanv3 got on my laptop with the annoying pop ups that keep warning me that I have trojans and worms on my computer. Luckily, I also have this desktop from which I am typing this and I disconnected my laptop from the internet so that I can finally close those damn pop up windows Anyway, upon some very quick research, I discovered that anit malware live scan3 is a rogue website designed to get you to purchase some phony software. I found a website that told me to remove certain files on my computer which were malware. I did a search and none of those files were actually ON my computer. Now I'm wondering what to do next. I am currently running Norton's virus spyware scan. It's been running for 10 minutes with 0 threats and risks so far. Is this enough? Or do I need to do something else?Thank you.So I went to the malwarebytes website and I have the option of downloading the free version or purchasing the full version. Is the free version sufficient? And do I really have to put it on flash drive instead of downloading it directly onto my laptop?
When running an anti-spyware scan on your computer what should you run a scan on if you don't do a full scan?
So instead of taking the time to do a Full Scan what should you at least run a scan on if you wanted to save time? Full Anti Spyware scan on my computer takes about 2 hours. If I wanted to run a shorter scan what are the most important folders or files to cover?

ok so, i have a bad virus problem and i have the blue screen of death everytime i try to go on...so im forced to use safe mode...the only thing that sucks about safe mode is that i can use sound...is there anyway to get sound on safe mode?? and also is there an online scanner that can scan my viruses and remove them for free so i dont have 2 buy a stupid program just to remove the viruses spyware??
