My computer got to running slow 2 day's ago. I notisted it after I downloaded 5 or 6 free disks trying to help out a friend,wanting to get a free bootup cd for windows 98se. Then we find out she has to get the real one not a downloaded one. I've got the free AVG 8.0 on my computer and I ran a full scan.It found 9 adware and 9 spyware. I did what it said sent it to the virus vault. Do I need to do anything or will the AVG take care of it for me ?

I have downloaded Kaspersky anti spyware free edition and it been running since last friday evening. My computer is runing very slowly and I am considering uninstalling it because a three day scan seems just nuts. I have a fairly new desktop so I don't think that's the issue.
