HiCouple days ago tried installing keygen stupidly from website, deleted it as it was suspicious. Help please! How exactly does computer spyware work?
My dad has gone insane and is constantly stalking my moms every moves. Im pretty sure he has a spyware system installed somewhere because he somehow knows what my mom does online. But I THOUGHT you can only check what people do on the SAME computer as in, the person gets off the computer and you go to check the spyware system and see what the person has been doing . Is it possible to track someone's activity from a different computer? How? IP address? is there a way to stop it?

Help me with my computer spyware problems!?
I have two computers..an HP Pavilion and a Windows Vista.. I got my HP Pavilion back in March. I had my Windows Vista for 9 Months. I turned my Windows on and my Virus Protect er is AVG Anti Virus 9.0. Once my Windows was 100 % warmed up this mysterious virus protecter popped up saying scanning for spyware.I didn't think anything about it and I exit the virus protecter I wasn't sure about. So I clicked my AVG Anti Virus so I could give my computer a good scanning and maybe clean some of it up. Once my AVG Anti Virus popped up it also popped up saying " MULTIPLE THREATS" 20 Spyware attacks. And my internet popped up when I didn't click on my internet in the first place. SO... this is the disturbing part. My computer froze up for 1 minute and it takes me to a Forean Language Sex Condom website. And on the side it had a animating picture With a doctor showing the Sex Condom off and talking about it in whatever language it was. plus like 10 error messages. So I quickly turn my whole computer off by the plug so the hacker would lose all connection to my computer. I would hate to know what else would happen if I would've had my computer on for anymore for 17 more minutes.The most sites I get on that computer is " Facebook,Youtube" I'm mostly on my HP Pavillion. I'm not sure how this had happened and thought I would ask the pros to see what you guys thought. Should I get a Virus Protecter Disc. If so what kind of program..Call a computer wizard to get into my computer and try to fix it.. I have no clue what to do. i tried to get on the internet from my notebook but theres a program called antivir that gets popping up and saying i have malware, spyware and trojans on my computer. and that all of my programs are infected by the virus, so installed norton and with norton it says no viruses. my computer wont connect to the internet now, because it says no firewall but i went into windows center and turned on firewall....still not working need help please...
Laptop computer, spyware, and now problems!!!?
I have a DELL computer that recently started saying I had all these viruses on it. I was having some trouble getting the stuff to stop popping up so I did a system restore to like 2 months back. That seemed to help the problem, but then I was trying to delete some stuff that I don't use. I decided to delete Internet Explorer 8 since I've had people say that cause them problems. So I uninstalled it, well then my Internet Explorer didn't work. The window would open but nothing would happen. It said in a menu Internet Explorer No Add Ons.....so I brought out the CDs that came with my computer and tried to reinstall Windows XP and the drivers and stuff. Well now when I try to turn it on it says I need to activate Windows XP that i just installed but it can't seem to detect my internet connection to do that. It won't let me do anything on my computer since I can't activate the XP. I need help Anyone know what is going on? I'm normally pretty computer savy, but tonight is just not my night. Anyone know of any good places in California to take a computer? right now my only thought is Geek Squad?

Over the last couple of weeks I have noticed some major issues going on with my computer. First off let me tell you that this is not due to browsing adult websites because it is a work computer last night I asked the only answers that I got were to " Stop browsing bad sites" lol ,here are the issues that are going on with my computer and some facts about it as well ... I started noticing tons of pop up adds appear anytime that I would open the internet web browser. In addition, my command prompt would automatically open as well I ran a full system restore and saved the files on my hard drive. Aftert the restore, the computer worked fine for about 2 hours, but then the same issues started to occur again. I have Mcafee virus protection on here as well as the FREE version of adaware. the computer is a Gateway that is only about 2 years old I have noticed that there is a yellow light that will flash every now and then on the front of the Gateway tower I am asumming that is my hard drive? I am not sure if this is relevent, but this is the first time that I have noticed the light flashing. I normally use firefox as my web browser, but last night all of a sudden firefox shut down unexpectedly. Whenever I tried to open the browser back up, it said that " the proxy server refused connection. this browser is now configured to use a proxy server" . I have no idea why this happened. did the spyware go in and change my settings? so as of now, I can only use internet explorer to browse the web and I have to dodge the constant pop up adds. Whenever I have ran the free adware spyware full system scan, these are the results that constantly comeback " 5 Critical objects found all critical infections are Malware which is in the Virtumonde family" .... it also has found numerous " privacy object infections" that are not listed as critical, but they are listed as tracking cookies and MRU objects.thanks for anyone who can help me determine what the problem is. Like I said, I have ran the virus scan and the adaware scan for spyware, but the issues keep coming back. how can I resolve this issue? thanks
Backing up my computer....spyware?
I'm planning on restoring my computer completely erasing all of my C drive because recently it's been infected with spyware and its been causing my computer to work very slowly. I've had to do this before and I remember what a pain it was downloading all of the programs I use for work and such. How can I back up EVERYTHING including programs, documents and my iTunes library to a disk or somewhere on my computer where it won't get erased when I erase my C drive?Also, I have spyware programs, but I'm not sure they're working. Do you guys have any programs that'll get EVERYTHING and return it back to it's working state? I'd really like to just get rid of all the spyware rather that having to restore my whole computer. I've tried system restore, which restores it back to a previous date, but the date was just a couple hours before my computer got infected so it didn't help much.Please help me out.

I went to add and remove programs and I'm getting a pop up that saysSecurity WarningApplication cannot be executed. The file is infected. How Can I Install Computer Spyware to Find my Son's Hotmail Password?
I have become concerned about some of the people my teenage son is conversing with on the internet. He has an email account through our main ISP Comcast that I have access to. But I have found out that he has a Hotmail account that I cannot access.I suspect some of the people he is talking to are discussing using drugs and alcohol. Our son is basically a good kid but he can be easily influenced and I am concerned about adults or troubled kids taking advantage of that. I was told by a friend that I could install 'computer spyware' and use that to find his passwords? Will this really work? Where should I start to look for this kind of software? What kind of results can I expect? What are the best brands of this software? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
