I have tons of pop ups on my computer and one of them says warning computer infected with spyware scan now. I never click the pop up. Is my computer infected with an adware spyware program?

My computer keeps opening a new window with google, with the words 'adware spyware removal' or close to that in the search bar.Yesterday I accidentally clicked on a fake ad on Facebook under my notifications. It said that someone had tagged me in a video, and when I went to watch it, it began downloading..I need to remove this virus, it takes me nearly an hour to start up my internet with it. I have AVG but it hasn't detected anything.What program can I use to get rid of this virus?

Had Win32 Heur virus , removed by using malwarebytes , super anti spyware , avg in safe mode network. But trojan gone but have this site redirecting to survey site, or other false ones.Have put on block list for now . But concerned and want to make sure i got rid of any issues. Malwarebytes comes up clean as well as " avg" ,& superantispyware. Any ideas?

Apparently, I have a bunch of pop up windows when using FireFOx 3.0. I ran a a scan with Spy Bot etc and found to have over 1,416 infected files. Problem is..they all want $40.00 or more. I don't mind paying it, but I know someone out there has to know of a great free spyware adware remover...so might as well some money in this recession. So, can anyone help me out? Appreciate it.
